Happy Birthday Pennants

When is a pennant not a pennant?  When it's a bow tie!  As soon as I saw this card, I knew I had to case it!

My ladies loved making this on Monday!  The happy birthday sentiment comes from the Best Dad Ever stamp set, which I am rapt to see is in the new Stampin' Up! catalogue beginning on September 1st!

I love the simplicity of the inside!

Thanks for stopping by!

As you can see, it's almost exactly the same as Lisa's card, except I used Marina Mist Scalloped Dots Ribbon instead of the Concord Crush ribbon....but only because I didn't have any :)

Bordering On Romance

There have been so many gorgeous creations posted lately that my CASE file is getting out of control!  It's time to get some made :)

Today's card has been cased from Judy May at Just Judy Designs.  You can see her card here.  I changed the sentiment and my flowers are a little less detailed than Judy's card, but other that's it :)
Here's my version:

.....and the inside.....

A special 60th birthday card

My mother in law turned 60 on Friday, and last night we had a party to help celebrate her special milestone.

Here's the card I made her:

How gorgeous is that 60?  I used silver glimmer paper from our current mini catalogue and sponge daubers with Calypso Coral ink to turn them this gorgeous colour!

I am really pleased with how it has turned out, although I am going to have to fire my photographer for not taking better photos!

Yet another Fresh Vintage CASE!

There are so many gorgeous cards floating around in cyberspace made using the Fresh Vintage Sale-A-Bration set!  I think I  have about a million saved, and today I want to share my latest one with you.

I was inspired by this card over on Splitcoaststampers.  Did you look yet?  Gorgeous hey?  So, I was stamping away, as you do, and this is what I ended up with:

.....and the inside.....

So, while not quite the same as the original, I didn't deviate very far from her card :)

Aviary Center Step Card

A good friend and fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Janine, made this gorgeous card using the Aviary stamp set.....so I borrowed her stamp set, changed the measurements to make it square, and used scallop dots ribbon, but everything else is the same :)

Pretty cute hey?  I think so!  I haven't given Janine back her stamp set yet, so I might have to play a little bit more :)
