Christmas In July

Christmas cards are popping up everywhere at the moment, so I thought I would have a little play too!

I made this to fit inside Stampin' Up!'s open ended envelopes.  I love the size of the card!

The inside looks great in real life, but I just couldn't get a decent photo of it :(

Thanks for stopping by,

Jingle All The Way

Here we go with yet another Christmas card!  I did this card a few weeks ago at a workshop with a lovely bunch of my regular ladies, and they loved it!  This one is super quick and easy, perfect for mass producing!

It must be about time to create some cards in colours other than Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive, but I just love them!

Christmas already???

To make sure that I am not still making Christmas cards 2 days before Christmas this year, I signed myself up for the 2010 Christmas Card Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.  I signed up to make 10 cards per month, but you can choose to make as many or as little as you choose.  I should end up with more Christmas cards than I need, and plan to donate the extra's to Very Special Kids.  I am also using this card for the Clean and Simple Challenge #51, which is to use designer paper.

So, last night, I finished off my Christmas cards for January!

I made 10 cards all the same, so it didn't take all that long to put them together!  Now they are safely sitting in my card stash, waiting for December to arrive...and I'm sure it will be here befrore we know it!  Let's just hope I am organised enough by then to actually write in them and get them posted before Christmas!

The designer paper is from the I wish simply scrappin kit, and I have teamed it with Real Red, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White.  I used my markers to colour on the stamp, which is from the Christmas Classics set.  I don't know why I didn't use this set more last year...I think I was just too in love with Snow Swirled!  I was really tempted to get that out last night, but made myself use something else!  I'm so glad that I did!

Oh Christmas Tree

I made this card a while ago, but I really love it and wanted to share it with you.  I am planning to make a few more of these for my Christmas Card stash.  It's really simple, but so effective!  For the record, my card is straight, it is my photography that leaves a bit to be desired!!

Embossing is one of my favourite techniques.  If I didn't have to pack everything up and put it away each time I used it then I would probably emboss everything!  Oh.....to have my own stamping room.....

I have embossed the Merry Christmas tag from the Curly Label Punch Bundle in gold embossing powder onto brushed gold cardstock.  I love how it looks, and think that I need to try the same thing in silver!

Christmas Classics

It's getting to be that time of the year again, and I am so far behind in making my Christmas cards.  After last year's dismal effort I swore that this year I would start early and make sure that I was on top of it all.  Well, that certainly hasn't happened, so I had better get my butt into gear!  I still want to make another 30 or so Christmas Cards to send along to Warringa Park Special School for their Christmas Stall in early December too, so I can see quite a few late night creations happening here at my house in the very near future!

The card I am sharing with you today uses the Christmas Classics stamp set, and is another of my favourite Christmas stamp sets.....yes, I can hear you saying that every stamp set is one of my favourites.....and I think that is true!  It was quick and easy to put together, and will certainly be easy enough to make another 10 of them for my card stash!  I think I might just need to do that.....
