Christmas Wreath

I'm sure you will excuse the lack of blogging from me lately when you see the pure gorgeousness I am here to share with you!!

Didn't I tell you???

The wonderfully talented Sophie from Stampin' Up! demonstrated how to make this wreath at the Melbourne Heartfelt event I attended, and it's been on my to do list ever since!  Lots of work, but well worth it I am sure you will agree :)

I am running a workshop so you can make your own wreath on Saturday 3rd November 2012.  Places are limited, and RSVP's close on Monday 22nd October.  If you are in the Melbourne area and would like to attend you can RSVP here.

Thanks for stopping by.....and I will be back tomorrow with something new to share :)

Explosion Purse Class

This is what my ladies were meant to make with me on Monday.....

We had a bit of a false start, with my son throwing up as soon as his carer arrived, so we will now be making them next Monday.  Thanks so much ladies, for being so understanding :)

How cute is this purse?

Super cute yes?  So is the bookmark!

....and the card.....

I already know that my ladies love it!  I'm looking forward to making it with them on Monday :)

You can find the tutorial for this purse here.

Another Kusadama Ball

After making the Kusadama Ball for the Melbourne Heartfelt Stampin' Event (you can see it here) I knew I needed to make another one to keep and show off!

I love it....although I must say that I'm really glad it's finished, and I don't plan on making another one for quite a while now!

Thanks for stopping by.

Very pretty right?  That's good, because Irene loves "pretty"!

What's inside???  Nothing yet....I'll have to get to work on filling it with some pretty Twitterpated cards :)

My share for the Melbourne Heartfelt Stampin' Event

The Melbourne Heartfelt Stampin' Event yesterday was so much fun!  It was fantastic to meet up with friends old and new, and play with some soon to be released new products!

By far, the best thing about attending a Stampin' Up! event is the inspiration!  Everywhere you turn there is something else to see....it's better than Christmas!  My head is brimming with so many ideas of things I want to make and new techniques to try.....not to mention all the new products in the brand new Annual Catalogue starting on September 1st that I can't wait to get my hands on!

Here is my contribution to the share boards at yesterday's event:

It's called a Kusadama Ball, and I have made a large, medium and small one, and strung it on ribbon for a Christmas decoration.  I love it!  I really wanted to make a second one for me to keep, but I ran out of time.  This one took me a week to complete.....lots of work, but well worth it!  It was awesome to hear the oohs and aahs over it once I put it up on the share boards too!  Hopefully I have inspired other's to have a go at making one of these :)

A note to my regular class ladies:  If you bribe me with LOTS (and by LOTS I really mean LOTS and LOTS and LOTS) of Chocolate (Plain old Cadbury Dairy Milk is great!!), I may give in and agree to let you make this in a class.  NO.....I wont be folding all the individual petals for you.  YES, It will take more than 1 day.  Can you sleep over?  That will depend on the volume of chocolate involved in your bribe!  Feel free to start bribing as soon as you like!

Now, I am really looking forward to getting my fingers inky again.....

Too cute, right?  All it needs is the matching gift card.....

Happy Easter

I hope you have all had a wonderful Easter, and the Easter Bunny found you, wherever you are :)

I had hoped to get here a LOT earlier to post these.....but packing ready to move is taking up most of my time at the moment :)

Anyways.....here are the Easter boxes I gave to Dylan's teachers:

I am missing the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue already!

Dylan's teachers loved them!

Owl Magnet

I have had this on my to do list for ages now, and finally got around to making him.

How cute is he??  I used a little bit of the retired Elegant Soiree DSP for his body, and the gorgeous Red Glimmer Paper (Summer Mini Catalogue) heart tops it off.  I have popped him onto a magnetic clip.....now where am I going to use him???
