Fresh Vintage CASE

I have another cased card to share with you today.  I fell in love with this card as soon as I saw it!  I made some slight changes because I didn't have everything that she used in the original.

I love the elegance of this card!  Here's the inside:

Fresh Vintage

Oops.....it's been a while.....thought I had better pop in and share something with you all :)

I am loving all the stamp sets in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue, but my favourite is Fresh Vintage.  I cased this card from Dawn Olchefske.  You can see her original card here.

Dawn's original card was done in Pool Party, but I didn't have the seam binding in that colour, so I changed mine to Baja Breeze.  Here's the inside:

Pretty cute hey?  I love how easy this card is!

Easy Events

This gorgeous card is featured in our current Sale-A-Bration catalogue.  I loved the simplicity of it, although I did have to add a few more layers.....just to make it mine :)

Hmmmm....the card is straight....must be a dodgy photographer!

Here's the inside:

You can't really tell in these photos, but the heart is punched using the Owl Punch and the Red Glimmer Paper available in our Summer Mini Catalogue.

An Open Sea Reject

When I saw this card over on the Pretty Impact blog I fell in love with it!  I just knew I had to case it......but it all went downhill from there :(

I was happily stamping away, thinking how much my regular ladies were going to love doing this card in with their nautical cards.....and then I didn't have any of that lovely Soft Suede Taffeta Ribbon.  I substituted it with Marina Mist Striped Grosgrain Ribbon......and here is the result:

No where near as gorgeous as the original :(  The more I look at it, the more I don't like it.  Here's the inside:

Sorry Deb, I will bring it to show you all, but this is NOT one of the cards we will be making on Monday :)

Owl Magnet

I have had this on my to do list for ages now, and finally got around to making him.

How cute is he??  I used a little bit of the retired Elegant Soiree DSP for his body, and the gorgeous Red Glimmer Paper (Summer Mini Catalogue) heart tops it off.  I have popped him onto a magnetic clip.....now where am I going to use him???

The Lighthouse

I promised Deb that I would pop in this morning to share another card from our class :)

Sarah asked me to use this retired Stampin' Up! set called The Lighthouse.  I have kept the same layout and dimensions as my Open Sea card, just changed the colours.

.....and the inside.....

I love the simplicity of this card.  A little bit of colouring would step it up a notch, but the girls will have to wait and see if that is what I have in store for them!!
